How to register as a soccer player and play tournaments

Every player on Playmaker App gets a card: positions, attributes, match history and stats, all in one shareable profile. It’s how team owners find you, how organizers verify you, and how your season gets remembered. Here’s how to set yours up and get on a team sheet.

Create your account and player profile

Sign up free with your email and a password (6+ characters) - you stay signed in, so your session is restored each time you reopen the app. Then create your profile from the Player tab.

  1. 1
    Open Create Profile
From the Player tab, tap Create profile.
  2. 2
    Claim your @handle
Pick a unique handle - it’s yours across the whole platform.
  3. 3
    Add your attributes
Positions, height, weight, preferred foot and jersey number.
  4. 4
    Set draft visibility
Decide whether team owners and the public can discover your card.
  5. 5
    Save
Your card is live and ready to be scouted.

Get scouted with draft visibility

Draft visibility is an opt-in switch on your profile. Turn it on and your card becomes discoverable to team owners searching for players - and it publishes on the web, so anyone can look you up. Leave it off to stay private. The more complete your profile and the more match history you build, the more likely you are to be drafted.

Join a squad and get selected

A team owner can add you to their squad, or you can ask to join one. Once you’re in, the owner sets your status - Active means you’re available for selection, while Injured, Suspended and Unavailable keep you out of the roster for now. When the team enters a tournament, the owner picks the roster from the squad, and the organizer verifies it before the competition goes live.

Play, and let your card do the talking

From kickoff, everything you do on the pitch flows back to your card. Scores and events entered in Live Centre update your stats, your team’s standings and your match history in real time. And if you ever leave a team or get removed, you become a free agent again - your profile, card and stats stay with you, ready for the next squad that comes calling.
